House Gaming Oversight Committee

The purpose of today's joint hearing being conducted by the House Gaming
Oversight Committee and the Senate Committee on Community, Economic and
Recreational Development is twofold: 1) to explore and clarify relevant
provisions of the Lobbying Disclosure Law of Pennsylvania (65 Pa.C.S.A. § 13A01
et seq.); and 2) to elicit testimony concerning the make-up, mission and
activities of the Pennsylvania Casino Association (PCA) and how such might
invoke the provisions related to the Lobbying Disclosure Law and the federal
filing requirements related to Form 990 (Return of Organization Exempt from
Income Tax).
